When you sign up as a pro, you create a profile to describe your business, upload photos, and share your reviews. You will also set your list of services and setup up preferences for those services.

After your profile is complete, students searching Tutors.com will be able to find your profile and reach out to you directly. We will also introduce you to other customers who might be a good fit for you.

Building a strong profile with photos and reviews is an important step in getting hired.

Your profile is one of the first things a customer sees. It tells them who you are and helps them decide if you are the right pro for them. Getting hired by new students and helping them with their tutoring needs is the goal. Read about our tips for getting hired.

Here's how you create your business profile:

1. Go to our Join Page
2. Select your main service and business zip code, then click Sign up for free
3. Next, you will enter your contact information and create a password
4. Then, the website will walk you through the onboarding process to finish setting up your business.

We'll ask you questions about your business, the types of customers you're looking for, and how many customers you'd like to meet each week, along with your budget for jobs. Once you're finished signing up you can start getting matched with and meeting customers.

What does it cost to become a pro?

You can sign up and create a profile at no cost. We list you in search results for free as well. Customers choose who they want to work with. You set your own prices, and you contract directly with customers.

Do pros work for Tutors.com?

No, tutors, teachers, and instructors do not work for Tutors.com. We explicitly help customers find pros for their tutoring needs. Pros on Tutors.com set their own prices, and communicate and manage payment for services directly with customers.

I want to become a pro but I already have an account. How do I sign up?

If you already made a Tutors.com account, log in and be sure you have completed your profile and have your notifications on to receive jobs. If you don’t remember your password, you can reset your password. 

I’m already a pro. How do I add another service to my account?

To add another service to your account, log in and then visit your Services page. This is where you can add new services and make edits to existing services. Read our article about your services for additional information.
